
Marcus Dean Fuller
Executive & Artistic Director
Marcus Dean Fuller is an actor, writer, director and producer with over twenty-five years’ experience working in film, television and stage.
In 2017 Fuller served as Director of Artistic Development with the White Heron Theater on Nantucket where he oversaw the development and production of the world premieres of Dark and Stormy, an original play, written and directed by Fuller and Evanston Salt Costs Climbing written by Will Arbery and directed by Dustin Wills, co-produced with New Neighborhood Media.
In 2008 Fuller founded Compass Entertainment to develop and produce independent film, theater and media. His produced films include Ping Pong Summer with Susan Sarandon, Dial a Prayer with William Macy and Brittany Snow, Darkness Rising and One Fall. Fuller has been a contributing writer for “The Wrap” magazine and his original screenplay for the feature film One Fall was awarded a permanent place in the Margaret Herrick Library, a world-renowned non-circulating reference and research collection devoted to the history and development of the motion picture as an art form and an industry by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Fuller has taught numerous courses on both acting and producing at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rutgers, Skidmore College and Union College where he currently, teaches Acting and Shakespeare in Performance. He is a member of the Artistic Advisory Board for the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey and has served on the Board of Directors for ShakespeareNYC, Yale University Alumni Board, Nantucket Theater Institute, White Heron Theater Company, Saratoga Shakespeare Company and the Yale School of Drama Board of Advisors.
Fuller received his MFA from Yale School of Drama.

Emma Halpern
Managing Director
Emma Halpern is the former Co-Artistic Director of New York City Children’s Theater (NYCCT), where for the last ten years, she served as a producer and dramaturg on over 20 off-Broadway productions, including 17 world premieres. She also managed NYCCT’s 2014 name change and re-branding project, and oversaw the company’s new works initiatives. As an arts journalist, Halpern has contributed regularly to American Theatre magazine, the leading publication for the American nonprofit theatre, where she has published over 30 articles and interviewed over 75 theatre professionals. She holds a B.A. in English from Rutgers University and a M.F.A. in Dramaturgy from Brooklyn College, where she has taught as an adjunct lecturer in the M.F.A Performing Arts Management Program.

Tracy Liz Miller
Director of Education
Tracy Liz Miller comes to SSC with extensive experience as an actor, producer, director, and educator. She is the Co-Founder of Pawling Theatre Exchange and Co-Founding Producing Artistic Director of The Bridge Initiative: Women in Theatre. She serves on the theatre faculty of Western Connecticut State University, and is the former Director of Theatre Arts at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler, Arizona. She has received the KCACTF/ATHE Innovative Teaching Award, a Professional Development Grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and an Emerging Director Scholarship from the Celebration Barn in Maine. She holds a B.F.A. in Music Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and a M.F.A. in Acting from Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama. www.tracylizmiller.com
